I have always loved Valentines Day, making notes to pass out, eating that little clever candy, and all the pretty hearts! Traditionally it’s a day for romantic love but I see no reason not to extend to others. Everybody likes to feel loved and it needn’t be in a romantic way, its human nature to want to feel connected to others. Valentines Day is a perfect opportunity to send sweet notes to those close to you and remind them you care. I still enjoy making valentines just like when I was a kid and continue to send my mom a handmade note. Some years I also send to friends and even give small gifts for fun. For grand gestures, the sky is the limit, so many choices! Beautiful floral arrangements, gourmet sweets, fine jewelry… all lovely!
