This past weekend was bliss. Four whole days off to celebrate and relax. I finally found the time to watch Sex and the City 2 and loved it. I never went to the theater because the reviews were not good but as a true SATC fan I knew I would watch it some day. My expectations were only for the fashion and decor and I was not disappointed. Carrie and Big’s apartment was gorgeous and I found myself pressing pause to note all the details (a big plus watching at home). A favorite quote from Carrie was “I’ve been cheating on fashion with furniture”. I’m glad she did, it was a feast for my eyes. Of course she also had some amazing fashion pieces and I’m always inspired by her late night lounge wear. No sweat pants for Carrie, she wears silk dressing gowns in beautiful jewel tones.
