My whole life I’ve been told I should be eating more fruits and vegetables, specifically “5 Daily Servings”. Although I try to make healthy choices I confess I rarely come close to eating the recommended daily servings of fruit and vegetables. This weekend I was inspired to take on a fruit and veggie challenge for the month of April in hopes of forming some good habits. My husband volunteered to join in so we bought our first week’s worth at the Farmer’s Market & Trader Joe’s. The photo shows everything minus some frozen berries. It looks like enough for a month! I’m hoping after week one I’ll feel energized and inspired to keep going. Wish me luck!
