I have been looking for a fun new way to display a photo on my office desk and was inspired to try something I saw in a boutique. Using a vintage like photo (not full color), I simply put in a mason jar and filled with olive oil. The oil acts as a magnifier while the color gives it a cool old world look. The oil should preserve the photo for a few years before slowly deteriorating the print, which will make it look more like a true vintage photo. It’s definitely different and fun, I think I like!
