I have always been one to send personal holiday cards with handwritten messages but with the trend being photo cards I was hesitant this year. Maybe my friends and family didn’t appreciate my cards and really like getting the photo cards. I went back and forth on this and finally just asked some of my friends how they really felt about it. Surprisingly most said they prefer personal cards over the photos. One girlfriends even said she dislikes photo cards because she feels guilty at the end of the season throwing out the photos with the banana peels and coffee grounds. This made me laugh as I’ve had the same thought. Another friend said she loved getting my cards because they were creative, that was nice to hear. So…I was inspired to actually make cards. I had a bunch of holiday theme paper from a project last year and plenty of crafty materials on hand – rubber stamps, ribbon, sticky back crystals… so it was easy and fun! I hope the recipients enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them♥♥
