Pretty Paper Pinwheels

DIY Paper Pinwheels 008A co-worker of mine is about to turn 40 and is throwing her birthday bash in Hawaii. To help give her a proper send off, I thought it would be fun to decorate her office with some paper pinwheels. I picked out some great “Hawaiianesque” paper at Michael’s and quickly put together some pretty pinwheels to hang on her wall. This was my 1st time making these and I have to say it’s my new favorite craft! Here is how:

Start with a square and fold acordian style

Repeat with two more squares (same size) and tape ends together so they are all connected.

To vary size of pinwheels, use different size squares of paper. To hang, simply tape ribbon to back of pinwheel and enjoy
