I love paper products and enjoy sending notes with personal messages. Every year I enjoy the ritual of selecting holiday cards, writing out sweet notes to my family & friends, and mailing them off. I hope the time spent shows my recipients that I really care! As you can imagine all this letter writing does take some time and so I am a huge fan of New Year’s cards. This extends the season 1-2 weeks and gives you extra time to write out those thoughtful messages. If you can’t find time to send hand written cards to everyone, select a few people who are dearest to your heart and send them a Happy New Year card. You can write them out in the days after the holiday when things relax for a moment and they will be like extra gifts in the mail.
