I saw this yesterday on another blog and can’t help but share because it’s so adorable. Emily of cupcakes and cashmere used gold foil to cover 1/2 of a mini pumpkin to create a place card. It’s seriously soo cute I can’t stand it. I normally cling to summer with all my might but am trying to use fun and creative ideas like this to get me in the mood for fall and the upcoming holidays. I don’t even have plans yet for Thanksgiving but I know I’m going to make these place cards! You can also get creative with glitter paint instead the gold foil and again cover just 1/2 the pumpkin so it’s not over-done. If you prefer a more elegant look, the one below is spray painted with a soft gold and perfect for a more formal table setting. I’m sure guests will be thrilled with any variation. ♥
