Lucky me, I have some pretty talented friends who inspire me. They have followed their passion or “Big Idea” and had the courage to take risks and follow their intuition. I thought it would be fun to feature these creative individuals in a series, highlighting their successes and learnings. To kick off, I’m featuring Susan Hammond Skincare.
I have known Susan since high school and although we haven’t always been in touch I feel lucky to be a part of her life now. She has been an esthetician for 15 years and is really passionate about her field. Having recently opened her own salon, Susan loved the creative process of setting up her business and following through her vision. She admits not everything she has tried worked but that is when she has learned the most. Her ongoing mission is to create an environment that others love to step into and feel better when they step out. Having received many facials from her I can say mission accomplished. A quick trip to Yelp will show I’m not alone. Her immediate success is no doubt due to her genuine passion for what she does. I love being able to get a great facial and support my friend, it’s win win!
