Well our long weekend on Catalina Island was Heaven. Soo much fun! Beautiful views and beaches, fabulous food (lobster mac & cheese with truffle oil, oh my!) wild deer sightings, and just the right amount of R & R. I even discovered a creative designer who hand makes vintage jewelry. Leah Joy carefully selects antique objects with past lives and crafts them into wonderful pieces of adornment. As a souvenir, I scooped up this beautiful Victorian optical lens necklace. I love thinking about the woman who wore it and all it has seen – and what I will add to the story. All in all a perfect weekend 🙂
