Yesterday was my birthday and although not a significant year, still a special day to me. I have always loved birthdays and have many fond memories of homemade cakes, pretty balloons, and fun with family and friends. To my surprise and delight, this year was pretty spectacular. My husband and friends poured on the love with special treats all day! I was truly in awe of everyone’s thoughtfulness and generosity. From beautiful tissue pom poms to candy stripe straw flags, grosgrain ribbon and handmade cards, chocolate bon bons to mint chip ice cream sandwiches, it was all amazing. I felt incredibly special and it inspired me to be sweet and kind and generous to others!
