Summer Shimmer

I love summer and the glow my skin gets with some extra color. I really love the great skin products that enhance that glow and keep it going once the season fades. These are my tried and true favorites that I highly recommend. The Laura Mercier illuminating moisturizer is awesome. I mix with my regular tinted moisturizer for just the right amount of sheen and it makes my skin look amazing! The Nars shimmer is so pretty, I use over my blush for an extra boost of glow at night time, very glamour girl. Stila kitten eye shadow has been a favorite for years, the color is gorgeous and perfect for date night when you want sparkly lids. Last, but not least, the body balm by Benefit gives your shoulders and legs a beautiful, sexy sheen when you are baring skin on hot nights. Obviously I’m not wearing these all at once! Pick and choose 2-3 at a time for a sexy summer shimmer!

  2. great post! do you know how the nars illuminator compares to the multiples? i have used the multiples for years but have never tried the illuminator. i need to get stila’s kitten too – i’ve heard so many good things about it!

    • Thanks Pamela! I haven’t used multiples, however I believe the basic difference is the consistancy. The illuminator is in a liquid form which makes it easy to blend with other products (or over). I like to occassionaly blend with my everyday tinted moisturizer for an all over glow and a litle pop of color. I also have dry skin and prefer more liquid, creamy products that just seem easier to blend on my skin than a stick product.
