Years ago a design instructor told me that green should be treated as neutral color, he said “it goes with every color in the garden”. You know what he was right, and I never forgot it. I’ve always loved green – fresh blades of grass, emerald stones, my velvet sofa. How great that Pantone has named emerald green the color of 2013! It’s the perfect color to register spring and new beginnings. I already have some beautiful green pieces and look forward to seeing what fresh spring designs hit the market.
